Парадокс кельнского дуэта Mouse On Mars состоит в том, что каждый следующий альбом стилистически и концептуально отличается от предыдущего. По сравнению с другими группами, которые нащупывают свой стиль и развиваются в одном направлении, эти парни напоминают многолапую амёбу, траектория движения которой почти непредсказуема. Подобно хорошему актёру, Mouse On Mars стараются в каждом новом альбоме заново «скроить» себя, не учитывая свои прежние работы. И на этот раз в поле зрения ребят попала поп-музыка.

«Radical Connector» - это первый альбом группы, под который можно танцевать. Кроме этого, в каждом треке присутствует вокал, что раньше не было свойственно дуэту. Настоящий вокал, хотя и пропущенный через вокодер, а впоследствии ещё и нарезанный до неузнаваемости.

Но не всё так просто - какой бы стиль ни исследовали Mouse On Mars, они непременно высматривают все самые маленькие детали, разбивая объект исследования на простые составляющие. В руках у Яна Вернера и Энди Томы поп-музыка начинает искажаться, пускать пузыри, а сами музыканты выдавливают из неё кучу невидимых раньше деталей. Вполне попсовый вокал звучит так, как будто за микрофоном - пришелец с Плутона; набившие оскомину четыре четверти внезапно оказываются полны грува, обязанности же задавать ритм достаются клавишным вместе со спрятанной за кучей спецэффектов гитарой.

Название «Radical Connector» отнюдь не случайно - ребята разбирают привычную структуру поп-музыки на части, и складывают её снова, поменяв между собой ее составляющие - прямо как паззл. Вроде и знакомая картинка, и всё собрано по правилам, но в результате получается сумасшедший коллаж, одновременно произведение искусства и пародия на оригинал.

Ещё одна немаловажная деталь - в мире «мышей на Марсе» нет насилия, отчаяния,  безнадёжности и подобного негатива. И при всём своём стилистическом отличии от предыдущих альбомов, у «Radical Connector» есть то, что невидимой нитью связывает все релизы дуэта - хорошо узнаваемое тёплое и чуть «покемонское» звучание.

Что бы ни «радикально соединяли» Ян Вернер и Энди Тома, они делают это с неизменным интересом познающего мир ребёнка и мягкой иронией взрослых экспериментаторов. И в то время как остальные борются против засилья поп-музыки с помощью выкрученной на полную ручки дисторшн, Mouse On Mars бьют попсу ее же картой, изящно доводя концепцию этой самой поп-музыки до абсурда и получая интересный и ни на что не похожий продукт.  http://music.com.ua/reviews/2004/10/08/15361.html

Emotional Spy started to work on his music project in 2002, working on different experimentations in
his home studio, most of the time solo. The main direction then was really into atmospheric
landscapes research, sounding like sci fi work or paranoid ambient. Moving to Amsterdam in2004, the
music of the Frenchman starts to get closer to the work of the Warp records and Radiohead's Kid A
period, with more beats and electronica sense but still considering as a priority the expression of
neurosis complexity.

Often dark, always possessed and looking for a direct mental reaction. Finding inspiration from
lack of sleep, his own hyper sensitive reactions or misunderstood feelings and happenings, Emotional
Spy's music is all about manipulating electronics to soundtrack our cracked souls, the unsaid, what
you try to read between the lines or from the silence, these feelings that can't be expressed.
It's probably there that raises this clinic dimension of descriptiveness in his music, making
his tracks leaving in you this taste of soundtracks of non existing movies.
'Sky's Playground' has been selected as the official Art4Aid soundtrack for a massive modern
art event taking place in Amsterdam in April 2007, the profits being donated to Unicef. His first
album, 'Secret Science', is going to be released on Warp Light District this spring 2008 and presents a
reflection of this highly technologic world being prepared underground, from cinematic explorations
to more groovy territories, from mad electronica to ambient soundscapes.

Keith Kenniff has been with Type from the very beginning, and now as Type is well into its fifth year he offers us his fifth gorgeous release. In five years Keith’s style has evolved constantly, with his drifting piano compositions taking the Goldmund label and the Helios sound moving out from undreneath the clipped beat-heavy electronics of ‘Unomia’ and into a more unique place, even incorporating vocals on the ‘Ayres’ mini album. ‘Caesura’ however is his ‘proper’ follow-up to the acclaimed ‘Eingya’, and sees Keith return to the instrumental sound he knows so well. In fact in many ways ‘Caesura’ is a more electronic work than its predecessors, blending layer upon layer of synthesizer and adding his assured drumming to come up with the perfect meeting of indie-pop and ambient music. The haunting cinematic element is still present of course, but these songs are more rounded and confident than any in Keith’s career.
From the delicate bliss of ‘Hope Valley Hill’ which opens up the album with gauzy nostalgia and, as the title promised, hope, through the chunky pop of ‘Come With Nothings’ it is clear that Keith’s music is as arresting as it ever was. Taking cues from the lilting indie-electronics of Ulrich Schnauss and the unfussy ambience of Brian Eno, Keith manages to inject this with his knowledge as a composer. The epic harmonies of ‘Backlight’ for instance reveal a lightness of touch rarely heard in the genre with sweeping synthesized chords buzzing alongside Keith’s signature guitar.
Accompanied by more gorgeous artwork from Matthew Woodson, ‘Caesura’ is a glowing record for the winter months, and a glimmer of hope to keep the seasons at bay.

Long time ago I had only a two tape deck and a lot of tapes, then my first mix-tapes were made, after that the trackers (like whacker tracker, ftII) and computer pc scene appeared, first rehersals were made with 1DS squad in Pagoda Garage ( Oscar, Jobe, Pula...) then I started making beatbox and swallowed Basquiat`s paintings... it is amazing how sound becomes Your bloodstream and also strange that "becomes" changes into "is"... and everything`s different. Some unsuccesful band rehersals... and now? A little boy goes out to walk down his street with a single can containing all the colours. He is painting patterns in the air and looking how The Sun shinning through colorizes the people on his street'',    ',,Zova makes Music and cooperates with musicians. All what I recive I put in the box called " jazz distortion"
